Notice Description

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Kent is intending to conduct a procurement procedure to award a Framework for the provision of Ambient Meals, Supplemental Goods, In-Cup Drinks and Ancillary Products for use by Police Forces within the Custody environment, in the United Kingdom (UK). As part of pre-market engagement, the Authority is inviting interested economic operators to attend a market engagement day on Thursday 19th April 2018 at 11:00 at Southend Police Station, Victoria Avenue, Southend-On-Sea, Essex, SS2 6ES. The purpose of the market engagement day is to discuss our requirements relating to the provision of Ambient Meals, Supplemental Goods, In-Cup Drinks and Ancillary Products. If you are interested in attending, please confirm by 16:00 on 16th April 2018 to procurementservices@kent.pnn.police.uk with the following details; a) Organisation name; b) Attendees (maximum of 2 per organisation); c) Contact details Please be advised that parking is unavailable on site but there are various public car parks in the area. Please note expressing an interest or otherwise will not guarantee any future involvement in the procurement exercise to be subsequently undertaken. This Market Engagement exercise will not influence the selection of bidders but this process aims to engage with economic operators to assess market interest. The Authority encourages open, fair and transparent procurement and omission from any part of the market engagement shall not be taken into account and any subsequent bidder selection or tender evaluation process. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is not a call for competition for the purposes of Regulation 26(9) of the Public Contract regulation 2015 - a specific call for competition for this procurement may be published within the around June 2018.
