Notice Description

The Provider shall work on behalf of Commissioners to support the Management of the ICES Contract, ensuring that Community Equipment is perscribed for children, young people and adults in accordance with an agreed eligability criteria and associated protocols,proving, advice and guidance to Proscribers, applying clinical judgement and challenging practice when necessary: Main Functions: . Gate Keeping the ordering of specials and monitor the usage of standard equipment catalogues and promote clinical best value. . Provide clinical advice on all aspects of the ICES Equipment to include, clear and robust clinicial rationalle to persbribing, best practice and national and local guidance, suitable Benchmarking and appropriate revisions to the ICES equipment catalogue. . Work to change and challenge the ordering behaviour of perscribers and improve their knowledge and understanding. Additional information: To be delivered in Staffordshire (including Stoke on Trent)
