Notice Description

ITT for the Provision of Funeral Director Services for Public Health Funerals Tender Closing Date: Wednesday 21 March 2018 12:00 Noon NFDC requires a supplier to provide public health funerals to people deceased within our District. Under the provisions laid out in the Public Health (Control of Diseases) Act 1984 the Council has a duty to make the funeral arrangements for persons deceased in their area when no suitable arrangements are being made. The Council may recover from the deceased's estate expenses incurred for making the necessary funeral arrangements. In order to arrange suitable funeral arrangements, the Council requires the services of a funeral director.
