Notice Description

National Highways is in the process of refreshing 20 route strategy Initial Overview reports that will be published before the end of the current RIS period as final Route Strategies. The documents were published in May 2023 and after a period of feedback are being updated to reflect comments received. As this publication of draft documents to gather feedback alongside the Strategic Road Network Initial Report and Connecting the Country was not included within the initial scope for this project, the need to refresh the documents was not foreseen. As this refresh is now required a set of tasks that follow on from the original commission have been identified and need to be completed to have the final documents ready for publication.
