Notice Description

United Kingdom's Border Force (BF) operate a fleet of 5 x offshore Patrol Vessels and 4 x Coastal Patrol Vessels. To enhance identification and operational requirements a range of optical systems including hand held devices are carried onboard. These include Gyroscopically Stabilised Binoculars (GSB). BF have a requirement for five (5) sets. This contract will commence in February 2017 following a sourcing exercise based on written quotation. The purpose of this document is to make the Statement of Requirements and the Home Office Terms and Conditions available and to invite potential suppliers to confirm they can fully meet the Statement of requirements by providing a quotation along with acceptance of the Home Office terms and Conditions which will apply to this purchase . Potential suppliers are invited to send an email to Janine Melia, Home office Commercial: Janine.Melia@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk, confirming their interest in this opportunity and providing details of their product which has the ability to meet the Statement of requirements and in addition, a full breakdown of costs including delivery. Emails should be submitted by 5pm onThursday 07 February 2017. Please also note that in order for your quotation to be considered you must confirm that you have the availability and will be able to deliver all 5 sets by Monday 20th March to allow payment by the end of the financial year.
