Solent NHS Trust Paediatric Pharmacy Checks
Notice Description
Description of the contract: Solent NHS Trust ("the Authority") are optimising the care they deliver to children and young people with ADHD by partnering with local pharmacies to undertake their physical health monitoring (height, weight, blood pressure and pulse). The Authorities are working with Hampshire, Southampton and IOW Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to outsource physical health monitoring in an effort to provide care for children and young people in more convenient community locations and reduce the pressure on the ADHD pathway within the Specialist Child and Adolescent Service. The Authority is seeking a high-quality service that will be responsive to the needs of the client. Contracts are anticipated to go live in October 2021 and will run for a period of 1 year initially with the option to extend for a further year. The Supplier will be required to carry out Paediatric Pharmacy Checks to patients that referred to them via the PharmOutcomes web-based system. This system will also act as the method of reporting and payment validation. The Supplier will be NICE compliant and follow the relevant national and local policy initiatives. The Supplier will provide monthly updates in a format agreed by the Authority, reporting on completed measurements. The Supplier shall performance monitor its activities/ services to demonstrate that the Services are achieved and where not achieved the extent of any shortfall is identified, reported and acted upon. Detailed supporting information will be made available to the Authority should it be required, and all reports must be provided in the manner prescribed and in accordance with GDPR legislation, to ensure that the Authority is able to access data as and when required. The contract will be for an initial period of 1 year with the option to extend for a further 1 year subject to satisfactory performance and at the discretion of the Contracting Authority. The contract will commence from October 2021. This procurement process will mirror that of the Open procedure as in compliance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended) in respect of Health Care Services under the Light Touch Regime. The authority is using the Atamis eTendering system to manage the tender https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome
