Notice Title

Development of a concept design for a Digital Twin

Notice Description

A digital twin is a virtual representation of an object or a system. In the context of net zero carbon buildings, a building digital twin can be used to optimise existing building systems (such as heating, ventilation and air conditioning), as well as testing the impact of carbon reducing interventions such as additional thermal insulation. The proposed commissioned digital twin of an NHS hospital site will act as a proof of concept/value. The chosen site will attempt to be representative of the wider estate by having a mix of building archetype and condition. The chosen supplier will both build the digital twin, and offer a range of proposed simulated carbon reducing interventions. Interested suppliers should register on the NHS England & Improvement e-procurement system here: https://health-family.force.com/login * Once logged in click 'Find Opportunities' and search for 'Development of a concept design for a Digital Twin' * Click 'Register Interest' * Once you have registered your interest you will be able to view the Requirements and submit a response to the questions within the portal. * Any messages about the opportunity should be sent via the e-procurement system. You can do this by going to the home page and: o Click on 'My proposals & Quotes' o Click the relevant Project Title o Click 'Messages' & 'New Message'
