Notice Description

Staffordshire County Council wishes to procure a new contract for drug/alcohol residential rehabilitation and associated services to commence on 1st April 2017. The Service will be for adult (18+) dependent drug/alcohol users and should be located within Staffordshire county boundaries. The value of the contract will be approximately PS1,800,000 per annum and be for three years in the first instance, with the option of two single year extensions. The specification will be largely based on the outcomes to be achieved; thereby giving bidders the opportunity to outline how they propose to deliver the necessary results, within the parameters of the established evidence base. Interventions to be included are likely to be: -Pre-rehabilitation -Medically monitored residential detoxification -Rehabilitation (both residential and non-residential) -Aftercare -Family support SCC Commissioners will be seeking submissions from bidders who have experience of successfully delivering similar services and can demonstrate that their approaches can be successful in Staffordshire. As part of the market engagement process, an event will be held to obtain feedback from interested bidders to help shape the model of Residential Rehabilitation Services for the population of Staffordshire. The event will be held on Wednesday 16th March 2016 at 10.30 am in the Trentham Suite, Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH. There is also a scoping document and questionnaire for interested bidders to complete which provides the opportunity to input into the model and shape the future specification. The questionnaire will be available to download from the E tendering Alito system once an expression of interest has been made. The closing date for receipt of feedback will be 12 noon Tuesday 29th March 2016. During the event there will be the opportunity to have one to one feedback sessions with SCC Commissioners to discuss elements of your submitted questionnaire. To participate in this process we would like to invite organisations interested in this opportunity to: - Register an expression of interest, using the above contract reference number for this procurement process on our E tendering Alito system http://www.staffordshire.alito.co.uk/ and download the scoping document and questionnaire. - Email sarah.lynn@staffordshire.gov.uk to request a place at the event on Wednesday 16th March and if required, request a time slot for a one to one feedback session with SCC Commissioners. An agenda for the event will be sent out w/c 14th March 2016.
