Summary of the contracting process

The Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) is currently conducting a tender process for the provision of non-payment of Vehicle Excise Duty enforcement activities. Text to be corrected in the original notice: Place of text to be modified: Description of Procurement Instead of: DVLA will later this year be conducting a retender process to select a supplier(s) to provide ongoing enforcement activities and vehicle disposal services. DVLA is tendering for two separate provisions. The first is for unlicensed vehicle clamping, removal, sale at auction and associated admin services. The second is for non-compliant vehicle detection and reporting via ANPR technology. Both services are UK wide and manage significant volumes of transactions for the DVLA. The current volume of Wheel clamping actions per year is in excess of 115k. DVLA would like to hold Innovation Days later in July and August 2017, which will focus on new/innovative solutions for Wheel clamping and ANPR provision. DVLA anticipates commencing the procurement with the publication of an OJEU contract notice in September 2017. To register your interest in attending the innovation and/or supplier day and to request further information, please email the following: enforcementprocurement@dvla.gsi.gov.uk Read: Due to circumstances beyond the DVLA's control, the information about Supplier and Innovation Days has been changed.
