Contract 15 - Supply of Building Material 2024

Notice Description

This Framework Contract will ensure availability of suitable Suppliers for the supply ofVarious Building materials goods required and as detailed in the Specification included within the Tender Documents. It is anticipated the Contract will commence on 1st September 2024. The Framework is for an initial 24 month period with the option to extend for up to a further two, twelve month periods. A mini competition will be carried out annually between the successful Contractors which may result in re-ranking of suppliers. The Successfully awarded Contractors will be required to work together with North Tyneside Council (the Authority) to drive improvements and support the aims and ambitions of the Contract. The Framework consists of the following 9 lots and a maximum of 3 Contractors will be appointed on each Lot. There is no limit to the number of Lots you can bid for, where you are unable to provide a price for a product, the Authority will apply the highest price submitted from all bids submitted. Tenderers (Bidders) must price at least 80% of each Lot being applied for, the Lots are as follows: Lot 1 - Bricks, Sand & Cement, Plaster, Plasterboard,and Small Aggregates Lot 2 - Floor and Wall Tiles Lot 3 - UPVC Trim Lot 4 - Tools Lot 5 - Hardware Lot 6 - Gas Bottles Lot 7 -Sundries and Miscellaneous Lot 8 -Roofing Materials Lot 9 -Sealants and Adhesives Interested bidders must access the Tender documents for further information, which are available to download immediately in the electronic tendering Portal, NEPO Portal, the link to the NEPO Portal is in additional information futher below Additional information: Award Criteria The full detail's of the award criteria are included in the Tender Documents Contract Duration The initial contract is for 24 months with two options to extend for up to a further 12 months each after which renewals will be undertaken in accordance with the Authority's contract Standing Orders and at the sole discretion of the Authority and in line with the Authority Requirements for the Framework.
