Notice Description

Tender for the Provision of a SENDIASS Service The current contract for the delivery of the SENDIASS (Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND) Information, Advice and Support Service) in Sandwell ends on 31 March 2019. The Council is seeking to identify a suitable agency to operate the SENDIASS service within the Borough from 1 April 2019. The Children and Families Act 2014 requires local authorities to provide an Information, Advice and Support Service for parents and carers of children and young people with a Special Educational Need and Disability (SEND) and young people who have a SEND. The Service must provide high quality, impartial information, advice and support on a range of matters relating to education, health and social care. Further details of the service required are detailed in the specification in this document The contract is for a 3-year period with the possibility of an extension for a further 12 months subject to provision of budget. Please Note: TUPE - Standard TUPE information will be provided as a supporting document to the tender pack to all those bidders that confirm they are interested in submitting a tender and commit to maintaining the confidentiality of the information. Please indicate this by completing the TUPE Confidentiality Agreement Document in the tender pack and return via correspondence via Intend by no later than Friday 14th December 2018. This information will then be emailed to you by return via Intend. The Council will be using the In-tend e-Tendering System for this Procurement exercise, please visit https://in-tendhost.co.uk/sandwellmbc to access the Sandwell MBC In-tend Supplier Portal. From here you will be able to register your company, express an interest in the opportunity, and gain immediate access to the ITT and other related documents. You will be required to' Opt-In'.
