Highway Design, Maintenance and Construction Services

Notice Description

The Council currently has a contract with a single service provider for the delivery of highway design, maintenance and construction services in Cheshire East. The contract expires at the beginning of October 2018. The Council wishes to consult with organisations with relevant experience of the delivery of similar services. The purpose of the consultation is to seek the views of market participants on the Council's preferred option(s) and to support the Council in the planning and conduct of the procurement procedure. Suitably experienced organisations are requested to participate in this market consultation by responding to a questionnaire which can be found on www.the-chest.org.uk and searching for Project ID DN235090. Additional information: A background document and the questionnaire will be available on The Chest e-tendering portal at: www.the-chest.org.uk; - Project ID DN235090. Completed questionnaires should be returned via the Chest messaging section as and when completed - deadline for last submissions 12pm; 14th March 2017. The Council intends to proceed to procurement in mid 2017, however makes no guarantees that this early engagement will be followed with a Contract Notice or tender. This early engagement is an indication of potential future procurement activity and is subject to change. This is not part of any pre-qualification or selection process and is not a commitment to procure anything. The Council is keen to explore all options or solutions that may be currently available in the market and would like to engage with potential providers.
