Contract for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of Equipment for the Prosthetic and Orthotic Machine Room and Plaster Room
Notice Description
Keele University, School of Allied Health Professions, commence a new qualifying 2-year MSc in Prosthetics & Orthotics (P&O) in January 2022. This will be the first Master's level P&O graduating programme in the UK. This invitation to tender is to equip the machine room and plaster room to support the education of students on the programme. Tenders are therefore invited for the Contract for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of Equipment for the Prosthetic and Orthotic Machine Room and Plaster Room in accordance with the Tender Specification in Section 2 of the ITT. The Specification must be carefully read by Tenderers to ensure that they fully understand the scope of the required contract. The estimated total value of the contract is PS150,000 excluding VAT. Main reasons for decision not to subdivide contract into lots: Given the need for one supplier to co-ordinate the supply, delivery and installation of the equipment required, the contract has not been subdivided into lots. The Supply, Delivery and Installation of the Equipment for the Prosthetic and Orthotic Machine Room and Plaster Room shall be completed by 17th December 2021. The contract will run until the Completion Date of 17th December 2021 followed by a 12 month defects liability period. Training and Maintenance support will be provided for a 12 month period in accordance with the Tender Specification in Section 2 of the ITT. Tenderers must submit a tender for ALL items detailed in the Tender Specification in Section 2 of the ITT (these items also detailed in the Commercial Pricing Spreadsheet in Schedule B). If you fail to meet this requirement, then your tender submission will be rejected as non-compliant and will not be considered further. Additional information: The procurement documents are available for unrestricted and full direct access, free of charge, at: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/universityofkeele/aspx/Home Tenders or requests to participate must be submitted electronically via: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/universityofkeele/aspx/Home Tenderers remain responsible for all costs and expenses incurred by them or by any third party acting under instructions from the Tenderer in connection with taking part in this procurement, regardless of whether such costs arise as a direct or indirect consequence of any amendments made to the procurement documents by the University at any time. The University reserves the right to vary or change all or any part of the basis of the procedures for the procurement process at any time or not to proceed with the proposed procurement at all. Indeed, the University does not bind itself to accept the highest scoring or any tender. Tenderers will be subject to a financial assessment to evidence that they have an acceptable level of financial standing to deliver a contract of the size and complexity of the Contract for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of Equipment for the Prosthetic and Orthotic Machine Room and Plaster Room. Note: Tenderers are required to provide in their tender return, a copy of their audited accounts for the last two years or if this cannot be supplied, the supporting evidence detailed in either 4.1(a), (b) or (c) on page 45 of the ITT. In conjunction with the above, the University will undertake a Creditsafe credit report assessment in respect of the Tenderer. Tenderers may be excluded from the process where their Creditsafe Credit Rating is 29 out of 100 or below. Is a Recurrent Procurement Type? : No
