Paediatric Phlebotomy Service - NHS South Warwickshire CCG

Notice Description

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit, on behalf of NHS South Warwickshire CCG is seeking to commission a high quality, patient centred phlebotomy service for children aged between 3 years to 15 years who are registered patients of a member GP practice of the CCG. The CCG has defined the service aims as follows: * To provide an efficient, clinically safe, high quality and patient focused phlebotomy service in a local community setting, in line with national best practice. * To improve access to health services in the community which are convenient for registered patients, provided at an appropriate time, location and within a suitable environment. * To provide an integrated service that is aligned with other providers within the health and social care economy in order to support timely diagnosis and condition management. The intention is to award a contract and ensure the service provision covers the geographical area of South Warwickshire. It is the intention that a single contract is offered for the performance of this requirement and that a choice of venue at which the service will be carried out will be offered to patients as opposed to a choice of providers. As a result of this procurement exercise an agreement will be established with the successful Bidder for a period of 3 years with the Commissioner having the option to extend the Contract for up to a further 1 year. Bidders should note that the commissioner shall hold a bidder information event on 6th July between 11am and 12 noon at the following address: NHS South Warwickshire CCG, Westgate House, Market Street, Warwick. CV34 4DE The event will be held in the CCG Committee Room. Additional information: Organisations wishing to express an interest and complete the ITT documentation must register their expression of through Arden & Greater East Midlands CSU's Bravo portal. i) If not already registered, candidates should register on the portal at:- https:// ardengemcsu.bravosolution.co.uk (registration and use of the website is free of charge). i) If already registered, candidates can use the existing registration. ii) Once registered, candidates must express interest by: a) logging-in to the Arden & GEM CSU e-Tendering portal, b) selecting 'ITTs Open to All Suppliers', c) search for and access listing related to this contract and view details, d) click on Express Interest iii) Once you have expressed interest, the opportunity will appear in 'My ITTs' page where you can download documentation (if required) & construct your reply as instructed. You must submit your reply on the website by the deadline stated.
