Summary of the contracting process

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) is currently conducting a tender for the "Small Works Office Reconfiguration" project, aimed at delivering small construction works in their London office located at Beaufort House, 15 St. Botolph Street, EC3A 7QU. This procurement falls under the facilities management services category and is in the active tender stage, with a submission deadline set for 15th March 2021. The total contract value is £500,000, with a minimum value of £100,000. The contract is expected to commence on 1st April 2021 and run until 31st May 2021. The FSCS requires compliance with the JCT Minor Works Building (Public Sector) 2016 terms and conditions for this open procurement process.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in construction and facilities management, particularly those with expertise in office reconfigurations and swift project delivery. Given the tight timeline of five days to complete the project, firms capable of efficient project management and sub-contractor coordination will be particularly well-suited to compete. Additionally, service providers that can demonstrate compliance with health and safety regulations and effective waste disposal strategies will have a competitive advantage in this process.
