Life Coaching Services
Notice Description
University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) is inviting quotations from professional life coaches to provide life coaching services to clients of The Learning Hub as part of the Youth Promise Plus project. The life coach will be working with young people aged 17-29 who are currently not in employment, training or education (NEET) and may also come from disadvantaged backgrounds. The Learning Hub is a purpose built training centre funded by University Hospitals Birmingham, Advantage West Midlands and European Development Funds. Its aim is to assist unemployed people within the local community back into work, by providing pre-employment training, advice and guidance. Youth Promise Plus is a Birmingham and Solihull Employment pathway project which provides an employer and vacancy-led approach to skills provision, responding to the needs of disadvantaged young people in the local jobs market. To date the Learning Hub has enabled over 2000 unemployed people to take up jobs and the successful bidder will be helping to build on this record of success by providing one to one coaching sessions to young persons enrolled on the employability programmes delivered by the Learning Hub. The purpose of these sessions will be to identify the areas the young person wishes to develop and explore any barriers that are hindering the young person from making the transition into employment, or further education and training. Those wishing to submit a bid will need to do so through the Bravo e-tendering portal The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of bidders will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
