Enteral Nutrition Services for Alder Hey Children's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Notice Description

Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust intend to establish a contract for Enteral Nutrition Services, which include pumps, feeds and ancillary products for use in the boundaries of their health economy. It is anticipated that this contract will include TWO Lots: Lot 1 - acute use and home delivery of the services, equipment, feeds and associated ancillaries to patients. This Lot shall include the provision of acute use and home delivery of the services, equipment, feeds and associated ancillaries to patients by a single provider. The single provider shall be responsible for the provision of all services, equipment and feeds, including any from third parties. Lot 2 - Additional Associated ancillaries, for direct delivery to patient's homes, including, but not limited to gastronomy feeding button devices. This Lot shall be for the provision of additional associated ancillaries for direct delivery to patients' places of residence, including, but not limited to gastronomy feeding button devices. Any associated software or IT for ordering shall be included within this Lot and provided by the Provider. It is anticipated a sole provider will be awarded to this Lot, however this is for discussion during pre-market engagement. Pre-market engagement meetings will be held with suppliers for discussion of the Lot structure, as well as the overall contract. To assist in the strategic direction of the procurement and overall solution, the Authority will be holding a supplier day on 3rd December 2020. Please send your expression of interest to hannah.nicholls@htepg.com by 19th December 2020; further details will be released 1 week before the scheduled meeting; this will include a supplier pack with further details of the requirements. The supplier day will consist of individual meetings with each supplier and the Trust, where the supplier will be required to provide an overview of their solution and then have a Q&A session. This day will be held in accordance with Regulation 40 & 41 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015. Due to the current situation with regards to meetings in person, Supplier Engagement will take place virtually using video conference facilities. The regulations shall still apply during any pre-market engagement activities. Please note - direct any enquiries about the tender or future business through HTE at the above email address.
