Notice Title
25812 - Contingency OV Services for Scotland
Notice Description
APHA require trained contingency COV's available to rapidly respond in the event of a notifiable disease outbreak or other disruptive event in Scotland. APHA wish to establish the contingency arrangements in five (5) geographic regions (lots) in Scotland (including the mainland and the islands which make up the country's territory). COVs may be required (at the request of the Authority) to supplement the APHA workforce during an outbreak or other contingency response in Scotland to cover specific tasks and are intended to improve emergency response by bringing local knowledge and specialist skill to a Forward Operating Base (FOB). APHA require the appointment of multiple Providers to the Framework Agreement who can supply named COVs to support APHA response to an outbreak or other contingency situation in Scotland.
