Notice Description

Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the provision of the supply of NOx analysers for the purposes of air quality monitoring. The Council anticipate the purchase of six analysers to replace existing units and may purchase additional units should further monitoring sites be established. This contract will be for a period of 3 years commencing upon award until 31 July 2020. The contract is to supply chemiluminescence NOx analysers which are used for the purposes of air quality monitoring to support the Council's duties / obligations under Local Air Quality Management and must be of a specification which allows their use as part of the Defra AURN network as an affiliated station. Specification for the NOx analyser: Analyser must be MCERTs certified. Measurement range: 0-100ppb up to 0-1ppm Lower detection limit: 1 ppb Span Drift / month: +/- 2 ppb Linearity +/- 1% Reading display: ug/m3 and ppb Touch screen display 19' Rack mountable Data transfer over ethernet and / or RS232 Analyser must have the possibility of recording internal parameters of instrument (sample flow, offset as a minimum [specify all internal parameters recorded]) Internal integrated pump. Power supply: 230V, 50Hz, max. 250VA Ambient temperature: 5-35 degrees Analyser must be compatible with IDAZRW logging software. BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
