Notice Description

City and Guilds Training Support - Kent Commmunity Health NHS Foundation Trust are seeking a provider to support City and Guilds (C&G) registration and verification of students for the Health Trainer Level 3 award (7562) and to work collaboratively with the Health Trainer Service (HTS). There is now a requirement to change the way this training is delivered to enable us to train individuals or small groups (estimated at no more than 5 at a time) internally. This change is being supported by the Health Improvement Training Solutions who have been heavily involved in the Health Trainer Service since its formation. Trainees will be trained in small groups and will often be training alone. In order to meet the needs of the service and the candidates we have developed streamlined assessments and a portfolio which meets all the C&G requirements for this qualification. These also reflect the new delivery process which is workplace based rather than classroom based. The successful provider will have to work with us inside this framework. The successful provider would be expected to: * provide the role of internal verifier for Health Trainer Trainees, * support assessment standardisation, * arrange for C&G external verification * register all students for the award * provide direct claims status They will be expected to do this for individual trainees and small groups. The contract is required for 3 years with up to a 24 month extension in 12 month tranches. Mandatory skills/knowledge: *Provider must be a current registered C&G centre with a minimum of 3 years C&G centre experience *Have experience of verifying health related C&G awards *Must maintain C&G registered centre status for the duration of the contract. *Experience of assessing/verifying against the Health Trainer award 7562 with a direct claim status *Can work with us to develop a process to meet provider needs and those of the Health Trainer Service. This will be an RFQ (request for quotation) within the Supplying to the NHS Pro-contract portal. Expressons of interests are invited by capable and willing providers for this opportunity, and closing date to express interest will be the 15th June at 10.00am. Providers who wish to express an interest should do so by contacting Kayleigh.O'Connell@kentcht.nhs.uk who will provide registration guidance for the Pro-Contract portal. PLEASE NOTE: The RFQ will be published the week commencing the 15th June, for a response by the week commencing the 22nd June. Dates to be confirmed within the RFQ once published.
