Local Authorities across the south of England are intending to form a consortia through which we will work together to collectively commission residential care for looked after children, the size and scope of which will create a significant and attractive opportunity for this market. The consortia is developing intentions to commission an innovative and flexible framework agreement as well as shared block contracts, in response to Sir Martin Narey's review of children's residential care which spoke of the benefits both for commissioners and providers of such arrangements. The consortia would like to invite you to this engagement event in order to: * Share our outline plans and intelligence * Give you an opportunity to tell us about your recent experiences of working with us * Hear your views on our proposed solutions The feedback from this event will be published and used to inform the planning stages of the procurement process. The event will be held on Monday July 17th 2017, 1.30 - 4.30pm in the Hamble and Avon room 2, Holiday Inn, Herbert Walker Ave, Southampton SO15 1HJ. There is a maximum of 2 places per organisation.
