Job Title: Social Care Improvement Manager Rate of Pay: ?26.23 per hour Hours: 37 per week Location: Sandwell Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury, B69 3DE. Start Date: ASAP Contract type: Agency Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role. Brief description: We are looking for a Social Care Improvement Manager within Adult Social Care on a temporary basis of 3 months with a view to extend to 12 months. Role description: o To manage and oversee the following key projects that include: Liberty Protection Safeguards, Care Act 2014 Reviews, Charging Reform and Preparing for CQC quality assurance. o Management and supervisory experience. o Manage Budgets/Authorisation and approval. o Quality Assurance. Essential requirements for the role: o Detailed knowledge and application of key legislation: The Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Liberty Protection Safeguards. o Detailed Knowledge and experience of Care Act Reviews 2014 that aligns with Strengths Based Practice Approaches. o Knowledge of Charging Reforms. o Ability to maintain effective relationships with key partners/stakeholders. o Ability to project manage. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and experienced in working alongside colleagues and partners to drive improvement and ensure projects are delivered to a high standard. The post holder will also have experience of leading and motivating teams and an ability to lead on continuous quality improvement. This post is for 37 hours per week. An enhanced Adults DBS check is required and candidates must possess a Degree, or equivalent qualification, plus GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications. Stated rates must be inclusive of all known costs. This role is inside of IR35.
