Summary of the contracting process

The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking bids for the procurement of Community Transport Passenger Services through a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). This tender, titled "HAC5591 Community Transport Passenger Services DPS," falls under the transport category, specifically focusing on services for vulnerable children and adults. The procurement process is currently in the Tender stage, with expressions of interest opening on 9th December 2019 and closing on 8th December 2026. The first round deadline for submission is set for 13th January 2020. The total estimated value of the contract is £18,900,000, and the service is expected to run for a duration of 84 months from February 2020 to February 2027.

This opportunity represents significant potential for growth, particularly for businesses specialising in transport services, including taxi and minibus operations. Companies equipped to accommodate Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) requirements or those providing community support services for adults would be particularly well-placed to compete. Suppliers can bid for various transport routes, and the ongoing nature of the DPS allows for continuous application throughout its duration, making it an attractive avenue for businesses looking to expand their service offerings in the London area.
