Oracle Fusion - Service Manager

Service Manager (Oracle Fusion) Rate of Pay: Can you please let me know what rate your candidate is looking for at the time of submission Hours: 37 hours per week Location: Working from Home Start Date: ASAP Contract type: Agency Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role. Brief description: The council is currently in the process of implementing Oracle Fusion, having been using Oracle E-Business Suite to date. We require a Service Manager to act as overall Project Manager for up to a 12 weeks, with a possible extension. This is expected to take us past the go live date so that the postholder can continue to work with directorates across the council to ensure best use is made of the new system. The duties are summarised below: - o Support the Implementation Manager by creating and maintaining focus and momentum within the business, managing resources, interfaces and dependencies o Enable business decisions and process re-design, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action including working closely with the Implementation Manager to ensure existing and new business operations are delivered into Fusion and into operational use o Preparing affected business areas for transition to new ways of working, including defining roles, responsibilities, platform ownership and contract management o Take the lead on council readiness and transition management, ensuring that business is managed during the transition and the process changes are effectively integrated into the business o Ensuring internal and external business stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout the project implementation phases o Maintain existing and establish new relationships with other Local Authority Fusion customers to overcome challenges and share knowledge o Working closely with Implementation Manager to manage the overall Fusion budget, risks and issues and reporting assurance to Board Please can the agencies send over a CV, 2x up to date references and a copy of Terms and Conditions. You will also need to include your agency on cost details to each submission. Stated rates must be inclusive of all known costs.
