Notice Title

Mental Health Supported to Independence Services

Notice Description

Supported to Independence services provide support for adults who have a mental health issue and behaviour needs which is impacting on their ability to sustain their accommodation. The services for Supported to Independence will be set up as a framework. The service will need to provide daily living skills support to approximately 248 vulnerable people in Essex with a primary diagnosis of mental health. The adults supported in this provision may still have complex needs, but would not require the same levels of support as that provided in Intensive Enablement. Supported to Independence providers will work closely with Intensive Enablement providers and other community provision such as Futures in Mind to support move on for adults who are on their recovery journey. This will be within current and new accommodation settings.
