Notice Title

Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) for West Essex CCG - Market Engagement

Notice Description

West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group is inviting suitably qualified providers to attend a market engagement event which will inform the West Essex CCGs intentions to procure an Improved Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service for its patient population. The casual connection between poverty, unemployment and social isolation and common mental health difficulties is well evidenced. Commissioners have therefore taken an innovative and positive new approach that locates the mandated clinical IAPT interventions within the wider socio-economic context in which the service and its users exist. It is expected that, through a strong outward-focus and the establishment of formal referral connections to and from a wide range of existing provision across the area, within limited resources, the clinical IAPT interventions will be better supported to maximise their effectiveness and sustainability to improve service user outcomes. The format of the event will be 1:1 discussions with interested providers, conducted virtually via MS Teams. These 1:1 event will take place on Wednesday 22nd July. Interested providers will be allocated a 1-hour timeslot following the registration deadline, which is 5pm on Monday 13th July. To register your attendance please visit the Attain Bravo Solution Portal. You will also find further information relating to the required service and key areas which commissioners would like to discuss, interested providers should consider all supporting documentation in advance. Additional information: Please note: Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken by you prior to any subsequent procurement is a matter solely for your own commercial judgement. The commissioners reserve the right to withdraw from the process at any time or to not tender the service, or to tender the service on a different basis. In such circumstances, and in any event, the commissioners and/or their advisors shall not be liable for any costs or loss of expenses whatsoever incurred by any organisation, agent or subsidiary that may have contributed to any proposals submitted to this notice.
