Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process for the 'Community Dermatology Services' aims to secure services for the Shropshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). This initiative falls under the health and social work services category and is being managed by the Staffordshire and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit. Currently at the planning stage, the procurement has an important milestone with the engagement end date set for 23rd February 2018. Interested providers must submit their expressions of interest to the contact point, Susan C Hall, by noon on 18th June 2015, as this is a precursor to the formal procurement procedure which will be advertised separately.

This tender presents a valuable opportunity for community dermatology service providers to expand their operations in the West Midlands. Businesses with expertise in dermatological assessments, multi-disciplinary service provision, and innovative healthcare solutions are particularly well-suited to compete. As the services are intended to be delivered from multiple locations within Shropshire, providers who can ensure accessibility and efficient patient management will be at an advantage in this procurement process.
