Notice Description

Bowmans Harbour is a completed, closed landfill site which is subject to an Environmental Permit issued by the Environment Agency. The Council has a legal requirement to carry out environmental monitoring at the site in order to comply with the conditions of the Permit. The works being procured consist of: * environmental monitoring for ground gases, groundwater and leachate * the servicing of the existing flare stack * balancing of 55 gas collection wells * provision of technical advice * provision for vegetation clearance * submission of leachate discharge data to Severn Trent * provision of an Annual Report
