GB-Okehampton: PROVISION OF MEDICAL COVER FOR TEN TORS EVENT
Notice Description
provision of medical cover for the Ten Tors event Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender. EOI must be submitted via e-mail to the Authority (within the time limit specified) and should include the name, postal address and e-mail address, telephone number of the Designated Point of Contact (POC) within the Economic Operator (EO). The EO is also requested to submit confirmation regarding Conditions of Participation (COP). The COP is available upon request from the Authority. Late EOI and COP will not be considered. It is the responsibility of the EO to ensure that their EOI and COP have been received. Confirmation of receipt should be sought within 2 working days of issue where an EO has not received an acknowledgement by the Authority. Advertising Regime DCB: - These contract opportunities are published on mod Contracts Online and in the MOD Defence Contracts Bulletin. Legal form to be taken by the grouping of economic operators to whom the contract is to be awarded (if applicable) : Joint and severable liability. The MOD anticipates that TUPE will not apply to this requirement. Suppliers interested in working with the MOD should register on its Supplier Information Database (SID), available at www.contract.mod.uk. The SID is a catalogue of potential suppliers to all MOD procurement staff, and is the main supplier database used by MOD. Please note that the registration and publication of a company profile on the SID does not mean or imply that the supplier has in any way been vetted or approved by the MOD. Suppliers wishing to compete for a contract opportunity must respond to any specific call for competition by submitting a separate expression of interest (EOI) in accordance with the instructions in the contract notice. From 2 April 2014 the Government is introducing its new Government Security Classifications Policy (GSC) to replace the current government Protective Marking Scheme. A key aspect of this is the reduction in the number of security classifications used. All suppliers to the Department are encouraged to make themselves aware of the changes as it may impact on this Requirement. The link below to the Gov.uk website provides information on the new GSC. Gov.uk GSC website The Authority reserves the right to amend any condition related to security of information to reflect any changes in national law or government policy. If any contract documents are accompanied by instructions on safeguarding classified information (eg a Security Aspects letter), the Authority reserves the right to amend the terms of these instructions to reflect any changes in national law or government policy, whether in respect of the applicable protective marking scheme, specific protective markings given, the aspects to which any protective marking applies, or otherwise.
