Summary of the contracting process

The Cornwall Council is currently in the planning stage for the 'Independent Advocacy' tender, which seeks to enhance advocacy services encompassing Health and Social Care across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. This procurement is valued at approximately £1.5 million over a potential duration of three plus one years. Key engagement meetings are scheduled for 25 June 2015 and 15 July 2015 at the One Stop Shop, Dolcoath in Camborne (TR14 8XS) to assist the design of these services. The engagement phase will conclude on 23 February 2018, allowing suppliers ample time for participation.

CORNWALL COUNCIL - INDEPENDENT ADVOCACY. Introduction Tell us your views to assist in the service design for independent advocacy on a potential contract value of PS1.5million for 3 +1 years. Following a successful initial market engagement event on the 27 May 2015 the integrated advocacy project would like to invite potential suppliers of Independent Advocacy services across Health and Social Care in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to further service design meetings on 25 June 2015 and 15 July 2015 at the One Stop Shop, Dolcoath, Camborne, TR14 8XS. See attachment for full explanation of meetings. * 25 June 2015 10.00-11.30am 4E.01 * 15 July 2015 10.00-11.30am GW.02 Committee Room Fully funded Level 3 City and Guilds Qualification available for Staff providing advocacy. We would also like to invite suppliers who are already providing advocacy services to attend an information event with possible staff candidates for the Level 3 City and Guilds Adult Advocacy qualification. * 7 July 2015 10.00-12.00pm The County Arms, Truro TR1 3PY See attachment for full details of the course.
