Contract Summary
The project aims to rebuild the existing woodland centre and replace it with a sustainable and environmentally efficient centre, whose design is sensitive to the woodland it is based in. A unique element of the project is using local timber grown on the National Nature Reserve (NNR) as the raw material for structural beams within the new building. The beams, derived from Douglas Fir trees, will be manufactured into glulam beams.
