Notice Title

Mental Health in the Workplace

Notice Description

This service specification sets out an opportunity to undertake a Pilot that focuses on Mental health in the work place. ECC, in partnership with the CCGs, has a good track record of getting people in to the workplace. However, this has highlighted a need for support in job retention either following an individual successfully gaining employment or where their existing employment is breaking down due to their mental health. Job retention is a key early intervention and can help avoid crisis for the individual. This Pilot targets support for employers, rather than individuals. The concept is for the successful supplier/s to develop a case load of employers (rather than individuals), offer a programme of support to the employers to improve their awareness of mental health and how they can best to support their employees in the workplace.
