Notice Description

Bristol City Council (BCC) require ongoing classified traffic counts to help evaluate the impact of several major developments and new Active Travel infrastructure. A key objective of these traffic counts is to aid understanding of modal-shift at each site. A programme of multi-modal (including pedestrian) counts are required on five streets across three sites for a period of 3-5 years. The minimum count frequency is a seven day count every three months, with permanent counts preferred. Any attachments on street light columns must adhere to the BCC code of conduct, and the supplier must assist in the submission of an application form to seek permission from the BCC Street Lighting team.
