Notice Description

Morecambe Bay Partnership wishes to appoint contractor(s) to design, build and deliver start and finish markers for the Bay Cycle Way, a beautiful 81-mile cycle route, National Cycle Network Route (NCN) 700. The markers need to reflect the essence of the Bay Cycle Way by presenting a clear visual interpretation of the offer of the route, leisure cycling the qualities and character of Morecambe Bay the Morecambe Bay Destination Brand - see Annex 2 The markers need to: - stand out and form an attractive feature of interest to all that see them - have appeal so that they will become an icon of the route - be designed such that most cyclist will want to stand beside these markers and take a photograph of themselves at the iconic marker to document their experience. This work is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Coastal Communities Fund through Morecambe Bay Partnership's Landscape Partnership Scheme - Headlands to Headspace (H2H). Submission details: - Deadline for submission: 5pm Monday 17 December 2018 (Late submissions will not be accepted) - Submissions should be sent by email to Richard Frank and copied to Susannah Bleakley and will be acknowledged. - The full contract value is a maximum of PS12,000 (excluding VAT). - The contract (s) is expected to be delivered by May 2019.
