Notice Description

The Council and PETPS (Birmingham) Limited require pensions advice and support in the triennial valuation process at 5th April 2022, together with strategic advice and updates as necessary on relevant changes in pensions legislation. This contract will be for a period of 30 months commencing 1st February 2021 until 31st July 2023. Aims Objectives and Purpose To provide advice and support in respect of the triennial review process. To provide strategic pension advice as required, and to ensure that the Council and PETPS(Birmingham)Limited are made aware of relevant changes in pensions legislation. Outputs and Statement of Requirements / Scope: To provide pensions advice and support to PETPS (Birmingham) Limited and the Council in the triennial valuation process, particularly in relation to strategy. The advice is expected over the period February 2022 to July 2023. This will include the preparation of strategic options (together with their impact on the funding position) and support during the process, recognising the Council's objectives. Two meetings with the Council and PETPS(Birmingham) Limited are anticipated. To provide strategic pensions advice and updates as necessary on the impact of changes in pensions legislation for PETPS (Birmingham) Limited and the Council over the period 1st February 2021 until 31st July 2023. The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
