NOTE: This notice was updated on 31 August 2017 for the following reason: Item 10, Deadline for Expression of Interest changed to 1st of September 2017 and Period of Work Start Date changed to 1st of November 2017 (anticipated)The fire engineer's overall role will be to provide advice in relation to the fire safety aspects of the design in order to provide reasonable confidence that the design that as developed, as well as in the completed building, should achieve an acceptable standard of fire safety, comply with the client's objectives and meet all relevant legal fire safety requirements. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
