Notice Description

The Contractor will need to carry out a detailed feasibility report for the replacement of the East Wing switchboard. *Establish locations for data logging to measure power consumption. *Undertake a detailed site survey to establish the load centres save and the address and destination of all associated LV cables. *Establish size of current conductors and assess load characteristics to confirm compliance with current BS7671. *Map all cable routs into and out of the switch room including containment. *Develop a changeover philosophy and plan that enables service to be maintained to minimise shutdowns. *Consider the phasing of the works and execution. *Produce design intent drawings. *Provide an indicative programme of the works. *Provide an indication of cost based around actual estimates for the work to provide accurate and reliable forecasts *Draw together all facets of the feasibility study into a single document with detailed sections and appendices for all specialist input and associated details. Please note the NMM/ROG is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and this building is Grade 2 Listed. Specific experience in this field will be essential.
