Notice Description
J. Murphy & Sons invites expressions of interest from experienced track matting suppliers / subcontractor for inclusion on a framework of regional lots across England, supporting major infrastructure programmes. The framework will provide opportunities to supply and install temporary access solutions on a call off basis, aligned to project locations and regional delivery teams. Project Portfolio Includes: Network Rail CP7 TransPennine Route Upgrade (TRU) Peel Ports Other rail and infrastructure projects across England Scope of Services: The framework will cover the provision of operated crane hire services, including: Supply of mobile cranes ranging from 25 tonnes to 130 tonnes capacity, with certified operators Lifting operations in support of general construction and civil engineering works Execution of standard and complex lifting activities, including confined or restricted site environments Provision of lift planning and appointed person services where required Support for structural installations, drainage, earthworks and concrete operations Delivery of both planned lifting activities and reactive call out services" How to Apply: Suppliers must express interest through CompeteFor to receive further tender information, including lot structure and next steps. About the buyer's selection process: Regional Approach: The framework will be structured into regional lots across England, enabling suppliers to bid for one or multiple regions based on: Fleet availability and crane capacity range (25t-130t) Operator availability and competency Local depot presence and response capability Ability to support projects within the designated regions
