Notice Description

Newham Living is a new approach to developing and providing housing with care and support in Newham. The Council is taking a more active approach in building, acquiring and transforming assets into supported accommodation to meet the needs of residents. Victoria Street is part of this strategy and the Council anticipate awarding a contract to a provider to deliver Supported Accommodation services within this building. Commissioners will be holding a market engagement on 29th October 2024 to share information and potentially obtain provider feedback. This feedback may be used to shape the procurement strategy and creation of the procurement documentation. The event is open to any provider with relevant experience. To receive the invite please contact Chris.Atkin@newham.gov.uk. Please note that attendance is limited to two people from each organisation. Providers must register their interest no later than 12:00 28th October 2024. This stage of the project is not part of a formal procurement process and the Authority is not committing, at this stage, to carrying out such a process. Participation or non-participation in the pre-procurement market engagement process shall not prevent any provider participating in a potential future procurement, nor is it intended that any information supplied as part of the pre-procurement process shall place any provider at an advantage in a potential procurement process. This is not a call for competition.
