EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF GROUNDS MAINTENANCE SERVICES ON BEHALF OF THE PRIORY LEARNING TRUST Expressions of interest are invited from appropriately experienced and qualified contractors for the supply of bespoke Grounds Maintenance Services to The Priory Learning Trust. Services to be provided will include the maintenance of sports facilities involving both natural and artificial surfaces, the tending of ornamental borders, pesticide application, hedge cutting and various ancillary works including planting and minor improvement / landscape construction projects to school grounds. The contract will be let for a period of three years initially, with an option to extend for a further two years at the discretion of the Trust. The planned start date is 1st April 2020. Tenders will be dispatched in December 2019 with a view to awarding the contract by the middle of February 2020. The initial range of sites to be included within the proposed contract are as follows:- * The King Alfred School - an Academy, Burnham Rd, Highbridge TA9 3EE * Priory Community School- an Academy, Queensway, Weston-super-Mare BS22 6BP * Worle Community School - an Academy, Redwing Drive, Weston-super-Mare BS22 8XX * Castle Batch Primary School Academy, Rawlins Ave, Weston-super-Mare BS22 7FN * St Anne's Church Academy, 1 Scot Elm Drive, Weston-Super-Mare BS24 7JU; Bristol Road, Hewish, Weston-Super-Mare BS24 6RT (two sites) * Pawlett Primary School Academy, Gaunts Road, Pawlett, Bridgwater TA6 4SB It is likely that additional academies may join the Trust throughout the proposed contract period and the contractor will need to have the capacity to expand the provision. The contractor will also need to be geographically diverse across Somerset and potentially the South West. Applicants will in the first instance, be required to complete a Pre- Tender Qualification Questionnaire covering financial, economic, technical, professional and environmental matters. Please apply by 29th November for the Pre- Tender Qualification Questionnaire. Prospective applicants should note that the closing date for receipt of completed Pre-Tender Qualification Questionnaires is 6th December 2019.
