Notice Description

The London Borough of Waltham Forest is commissioning an Employment Support Service to ensure that service users, who are accessing their care and support via a direct payment, are able to make decisions about their care and support through the provision of a high-quality employment advice, guidance and information service. The service will support the Council in meeting its duties outlined in the Care Act 2014 and Children and Families Act 2014 which places a duty on the Council to ensure that people who have been assessed for a Direct Payment or Personal Budget have access to information, support and advice with regards employment of staff.
