Provide wish to commission the best possible Upper and Lower GI Community Endoscopy Service for its population which will achieve the following outcome - Delivery of improved and demonstrable clinical outcomes - Delivery of a high quality service evidenced via patient satisfaction and performance information - Patient experience of service maximised, through the application of standardised referral pathways, monitored through patient experience surveys and from data available from the NHS e-Referral service, - Delivery of an efficient and effective service - Reduction of clinical risk by reducing inappropriate diagnostics - Reduction of the number of patients requiring referral for secondary care treatment by identifying cases at an early stage
