Provision of an Online Platform to Support UK Students in their application to University - Prior Information Notice
Notice Description
The University of Southampton is seeking to procure an online platform that is able to facilitate students to write their personal statement for their application to university as well as providing guidance, structure and support. As part of this package the successful company will also need to provide a fully trained member of staff who has qualified teacher status to deliver workshops within colleges/ sixth forms to support students in using the platform. These workshops need to cover the University and College Admissions System (UCAS) admissions process as well as aspects such as university admissions tests and interview skills. We also require the successful company to be able to deliver both online and face to face bespoke training to members of staff within the college/ sixth form across ten colleges within our region in the first instance. If the project continues into its second phase (2018-2020) we would require the company to train an additional 10 colleges/ sixth forms. Additional information: Potential bidders with the genuine capability, demonstrable experience in online platforms to support students and the capacity to meet the requirements set out in this PIN should confirm their interest by downloading, completing and uploading the Questionnaire via the University's tendering portal https://in-tendhost.co.uk/universityofsouthampton. If you are not already registered as a supplier with the In-Tend Portal, you will need to register your company before accessing the PIN stage. Once registered you will need to express and interest in the project, further details will then become available. To submit your interest on the In-Tend portal 1. Log In 2. My Tenders 3. View PIN details. 4. Browse and upload your return (or Zip File) 5. Once response document is uploaded and displayed in the - My Documents for Return - use - Submit My Return. Please note, to preserve the integrity of the procedure, all queries must be made via In-Tend. We look forward to receiving your response. The Closing Time and Date for receipt of submission is 12:00 noon local time on 26 July 2017. Please be aware that the system will automatically reject any late submissions. The responses to this PIN will be used to inform our decision making. There will be no prejudice to any future procurement procedure by participation in this PIN.
