Transport for West Midlands, apart of WMCA are seeking an external replacement, preferably off-the-shelf solution for its Direct Debit System. Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) plays a crucial role in coordinating and promoting public transport services across the West Midlands metropolitan county in England. TfWM's customer services include bus, rail, metro and it is expanding to greener transportation including scooters and bikes. The Direct Debit scheme is a critical part of this and is key to creating as seamless a transition for customers to travel from A-B with relative ease. While there are complexities in the infrastructure of the transport network, the goal is to minimise the impact of this to our customers thus becoming a seamless transition for Direct Debit handling and ability to travel at their convenience. The date for the webinar is shown below : Wednesday 17th July 2024 - 1pm - 2pm After the webinar, we will circulate a questionnaire through Bravo (WMCA e-tendering portal), allowing you to provide more information about your interest and comment on the proposed approach. If you are unable to attend the webinar(s), you should still register on Bravo and we will then send a follow-up e-mail, with information about the programme. Portal Website: https://wmca.bravosolution.co.uk PIN Title: Direct Debit Refresh Market Engagement Bravo Solution Project Reference: Project_833, PQQ_227 Additional information: Once registered on Bravo, please access Project_833, on our e-tendering portal and add (self-invite) your organisation onto PQQ_227 'WMCA Direct Debit Refresh Market Engagement'. Please also find below - https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/west-midlands-combined-authority-direct-debit-system-market-engagement-tickets-938235376267?aff=oddtdtcreator This notice, and the subsequent event, is an information gathering exercise rather than a call for competition and therefore publication or response does not commit WMCA or respondents to a future procurement, nor provide any process exemptions or preferential treatment to any parties expressing an interest. Please also note that this is not a formal PQQ or expression of interest in a tender exercise. This PQQ is to be used purely by the WMCA to provide potential delivery partners with more information about the WMCA's Direct Debit Refresh programme and for suppliers to submit responses to our questionnaire following the webinar. Your responses to this questionnaire will NOT be scored or evaluated in any way and will be used purely for information purposes by the WMCA. The WMCA are looking to establish what capability there might be in providing such a service from suitably qualified, capable, and competent organisations. The WMCA will not be liable for costs incurred by any interested party participating in this exercise. Interested parties should note that a response to this notice does not guarantee an automatic invitation to any subsequent formal procurement, which the WMCA will consider in due course. Furthermore, a decision not to participate in our webinar(s) or questionnaire will not preclude suppliers from taking part in any subsequent formal procurement.
