Notice Title

T0069 Environmental Management System development and improvement

Notice Description

Highways England has recently reviewed its environmental data standards and integrated environmental data into the Asset Data Management Manual (ADMM) for the first time, retiring IAN 84/10. The ADMM is now the accepted data specification for the business. This change, however, has not manifested in practice on EnvIS which means that data currently held on or submitted to EnvIS is no longer compliant with the Company's requirement. Highways England requires specialist resource to; - Produce a contextual analysis of EnvIS in relation to the other IT systems within Highways England; - Formulate an approach and cost for resolving existing immediate environmental data compliance issues; - Provide recommendations for the future collection and management of environmental data using evidence from the results of the above analysis.
