Notice Description

The Westminster City Council seeks expressions of interest from suitably experienced contractors to enter into a framework agreement for the provision of Right of Light consultancy services for all scheme requiring right of light within the Borough of Westminster. The Framework Agreement will be for four years. The estimated contract value will be PS1.4m for the duration of the framework agreement.The Framework Agreement will operate a taxi rank system for all call off. The Framework will have three (3) suppliers from 1st to 3rd in order of their scores after evaluation and call off will be in that order. An order or request for a right of light will go to the first contractor on the framework and the next order will go to the second contractor and third order will go to the third contractor. It will continue in that taxi ranking order. Once the Framework agreement is live, and an order or requirement for a right of light services is sent to the first contractor and if the first contractor fails or is unable to carry out the work (for whatever reason) within the time frame in the request, the 2nd placed contractor will automatically get the work and it will carry on in this order to the 3rd.The framework will also allow for a mini competition for complex schemes and at the discretion of the council.
