Notice Description

The School of Design at the University of Leeds is seeking tenders for a Laboratory Yarn Spinning System. The purpose of the Laboratory Yarn Spinning System is to enable the manufacture of short, medium and long staple fibre yarns. It is envisaged the Yarn Spinning System will consist of a laboratory-scale carding machine, laboratory-scale drawframe/roving machine and a laboratory-scale yarn ring spinning machine. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
