Medway Council is inviting tenders for the provision of a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA). The contract pertains to health and social work services, specifically under CPV code 85000000. The assessment must comply with statutory regulations and support local service planning, as mandated by the Health and Social Care Act of 2012. The procurement method is an open procedure, suitable for SMEs, with the anticipated contract commencing on 1st October 2024 and extending until 31st July 2025, with an option to extend for an additional two months. The tender submission deadline is 23rd August 2024, and the services are to be delivered within England.

This tender represents a valuable opportunity for businesses specialising in health assessment services to expand their portfolio with a significant public sector client. Companies with experience in delivering statutory assessments and a keen understanding of health and social care regulations would be particularly well-suited to this contract. Given the open procurement method, smaller enterprises have an equitable chance to compete, fostering growth and increasing their visibility within the public health domain.
