Urgent Care - Durham Dales, Easington & Sedgefield Clinical Commissioning Group
Notice Description
Services including Out of Hours GP services and Minor Injury Units. The aim of new services is to put in place a less complex system that people find simple to understand, to provide prompt treatment or advice for their urgent care needs, to ensure the best use of medical services and workforce and to avoid adding unnecessary pressure on A&E. The contracting authority will develop the service model to incorporate the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012, specifically: What is proposed to be procured, might improve the economic, social and environmental well-being of the relevant area. How, in conducting the process of procurement, it might act with a view to securing the improvement. Additional information: Registering an Interest and Market Engagement Exercise The CCG will be undertaking market engagement exercises during April and May 2016. If your organisation would like to receive a copy of the timetable of market engagement events & participate in a request for information exercise or register an interest please go to: https://in-Tendhost.co.uk/necs and navigate to NECS125 - DDES CCG Urgent Care Services. Documentation will be available from Wednesday 13th April 2016. Please note that all communications with regard to market engagement exercises will be conducted via the In-Tend portal. It is free to register on the portal, which can be accessed at any time of day. A dedicated helpdesk is available should potential providers have any queries & can be contacted on 0844 2728810 (Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm)support@in-tend.co.uk. Please note that this facility allows the provider to express an interest only in delivering this service.
