BHCC GB Corporate Building Cleaning Services
Notice Description
Brighton & Hove City Council (BHCC) are looking to establish a new arrangement for the cleaning of our corporate buildings. The contract will commence on 1st May 2022 for an initial term of 6 years, with the option to extend by 2 further years. The proposal is for the new contract to be divided into 3 smaller Lots, and for each contractor to deliver cleaning and sanitisation to various types of corporate buildings throughout the Council's portfolio. The Council wish to undertake market engagement to understand the following and inform future delivery and procurement activity: 1. Current Market Interest and Capacity. 2. To engage potential bidders on proposed Lot structure. 3. Social/Added Value Considerations. This is not a call for competition - a seperate notice will be published when a procurement procedure commences. The information in this notice is demonstrative of current arrangements and provided in order for interested organisations to understand the potential scope. The Council make no guarantee that any or all of the services and scope detailed in the notice will be included in the same format in any future procurement. The market engagement session will take place at 11am on the 26th April 2021 via Microsoft Teams. We expect that the session will last no longer than one hour. If you wish to be invited to the session, please provide your name, company name, company address, email and contact telephone number. Please send these details to gabbi.bancroft@brighton-hove.gov.uk and you will be sent the invitation to the virtual Microsoft Teams meeting. Only one participant per organisation. Please be aware that your name and email address may be visible to other participants during the meeting and on the invitation. Please contact us before Tuesday 20th April at 5pm if you wish to attend the market engagement session.
